Galpothuyaya Eco Hotel

I loved having the lake right next to my room, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax. Galpothuyaya is away from the busy streets, with nature sounds all around. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, and the rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and stylish in a way that suited the setting. The staff at Galpothuyaya Eco Lodge were wonderful, welcoming us with smiles and offering useful tips for nearby attractions and activities. We stayed in Habarana with my parents and son, booking two rooms for my parents and one for my son and me. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated with local art and crafts. Big windows looked out over the greenery, and waking to birds and rustling leaves was lovely. At the on-site restaurant, we enjoyed fresh, locally sourced food, especially the flavorful traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The lodge is tucked into lush green surroundings, peaceful and beautiful from the moment we arrived. For a comfortable nature break with good service, I highly recommend it to families, friends or anyone wanting to unwind in Habarana.

The staff were welcoming and hospitable from the start right through to the end of our stay. It was a calm, quiet place with lovely views, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The food was delicious too.
