The meals were a real highlight: both breakfast and dinner had loads of fresh, hot choices, plenty even with large groups around, and eggs cooked to order. Some of the best hotel food we had on this trip. The pool was clean and inviting too. Our room was spacious, with strong Wi-Fi and a bathroom in line with what you'd expect from a Sri Lankan hotel of this standing. Staff at reception and in the dining room were welcoming, helpful, and kept everything clean.

We came for a break from the noise of modern life, and the jungle setting made it easy to slow down and enjoy nature. Our wooden villa felt cozy, with tropical flowers in the garden and a forest and river view from the window. The pool was lovely, the food was among the best we tried in Asia, and the hotel staff were friendly and attentive.

The tree house room was gorgeous, and the evening sounds of nature made it feel special. But I’m very afraid of heights, and after dinner I couldn’t bring myself to go back there or sleep in it. The hotel staff were wonderful about it and found us another room at short notice. I really appreciated how they put me at ease and made the rest of our stay pleasant.

It was so peaceful among all the trees. The pool was lovely and clearly well cared for, and we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets every time. Kaveesha Rathnayake in the restaurant gave us such great service on every visit.

Such a lovely place to get away, with a friendly feel and staff. The rooms were big and clean, the service was excellent, and we enjoyed the pool. I’d recommend staying here.
