The food is fresh, high quality, and not too oily, with no artificial flavours that I could taste. It’s a great spot for a long chat or a gathering with friends, since nobody makes you feel rushed. Even though the cafe is in the middle of a busy town, inside it’s calm and quiet, like a little break from the noise. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and add to the relaxed feel. Definitely recommend it for good food and a peaceful atmosphere.

A quiet spot amid the town’s busy streets, with an old Kandy feel that suits the design. The staff were attentive and well mannered, and the food was fresh enough that you could watch it being made right beside you. Good for brunch or a calm evening with people you love.

The service was a standout: staff were welcoming and attentive without hovering, and our orders arrived promptly. I enjoyed the coffee, rich and aromatic without being too bitter or mild, and the fresh desserts had a nicely balanced sweetness. The food looked as good as it tasted. It’s a cozy place, with soft lighting, quiet background music, and comfortable seating that made it easy to relax. A pleasant surprise, and somewhere I’d happily return to or recommend for time with friends or a quiet moment alone.

Updated Friday, December 19, 2025: I appreciate the owner wanting to learn more about the incident and take action. I’m sorry I didn’t give the date earlier. It was June 11, 2024. I couldn’t write the review last year, but I believe improving the restaurant based on past customers’ experiences matters. I confirm the incidents below are true. This is a genuine review, because customers shouldn’t be treated that way after paying a reasonable amount. I hope the owner reads this and takes the necessary steps for the business and its loyal customers. Thank you. This was the worst cafe I’ve been to, and I wish I could give it zero stars. We went for lunch and ordered one chicken biryani, which cost nearly Rs.2500 with drinks. The food was terrible and the biryani was very sour. We could see staff talking to each other while making the dishes. They didn’t provide water, and we had to pay for a glass. In Sri Lanka, offering guests a glass of water for free wouldn’t cost a fortune. The women working there were unprofessional and kept giving us disgusting looks and making insinuating comments. The cashier boy with glasses was the only decent, professional person. The washroom was clean and nice, but the overall experience was disgusting. The staff had no manners and behaved unethically. I won’t go back.
