Reggie and his team made us feel at home, and Reggie cooked amazing meals. We were 12 people across three generations, and had Edgar Mansion all to ourselves, even though it's technically a hotel. It worked much more like a home for our group. The property was clean, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffee looking out over the river, and the location made day trips into Kandy easy, with tuk-tuks and cars readily available. Highly recommended!

The staff were friendly, and the rooms and surroundings felt calm and comfortable. But for a half-board stay, the food selection was really disappointing and fell short of basic expectations. I also found some water bottles in the room hadn't been properly cleaned, which was concerning. An average stay, with a lot to improve in the food service and room amenities.

Reggie was so accommodating and made sure our stay was pleasant, and he cooked some of the best meals. Everyone provided excellent service. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally well kept, and the view from ours was surreal. The place and its location are beautiful. This was my favorite stay during my time in Kandy. If you're after a five-star place there, this is it!

The photos don't show how huge this place is. The decor is beautiful, the staff are incredible, and it's in a great spot, peaceful but just outside town. Wow, highly recommended.
