A horrible stay and a total waste of money. I arrived around 6:30 pm to find there was no electricity anywhere on the premises. The caretaker said they didn’t use the generators when there were only a few guests, which meant just me. Then I went to the washroom and found there was no water either. I called the caretaker, but he wasn’t on site and had vanished. After about half an hour he came back. When I told him about the water, he opened two or three rooms and said I could use any of them since there were no other guests. Those rooms didn’t have a good water supply either. This place may have been better before, but it’s clearly not being maintained.

I love coming here each year to reconnect with nature. It’s a peaceful spot tucked among greenery, trees, and lush paddy fields, and the fresh food is amazing and tasty.

We were a group of 53 on full board, and the food was tasty. The location is lovely, the rooms and toilets were very clean, and the service was good. Manager kumar was excellent, said yes to everything we asked, and got it to us on time. Owner Munasinghe also gave good service.

There’s a lovely view over the paddy field, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly. It’s also close to mahiyangana city and mahiyanganaya Rajamaha Viharaya. A very good place.
