The location made getting around easy, with Kandy city, shopping complexes, temples, and other main attractions all nearby. I had been unsure after seeing some negative Google reviews before booking, but my stay didn't match those comments at all. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the interior was beautiful and comfortable. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time. I really enjoyed my stay at Kandy City Inn Hotel and would choose it again. I'd recommend it to solo travelers, couples, or families.

It's close to Udawatte Sanctuary and the Temple of the Tooth, so it worked well for staying a few days and exploring the city. The hotel has good facilities and nice little rooms. The room was clean, and you're in the city center near the main road. That does mean it can get a bit noisy at night, though it's understandable.

The staff were welcoming and always glad to help with whatever I needed during my week at Kandy City Inn. The room was very clean, and the city centre is only a short walk away. I thought it was excellent value for money and would happily stay again.

The staff were nice, but the room was loud and the area wasn't great. The shower pressure was weak, the heater was broken, and the Wi-Fi was weak too. The biggest concern was that the hotel locks the exit from inside with a padlock. Twice I had to wait for a worker to unlock it. I told him that seemed unsafe in an emergency like a fire, but he said the area wasn't safe. Guests should have their own key to get out.

The owner is kind and friendly, and we could get help from them anytime. The place felt safe, and our room was very clean. Nice location and view, too.
