A man has to let you through the front gate, and the building felt deserted. I didn’t see anyone in the other 60 rooms. It’s hard to reach on foot, and the room itself is basic. The roof restaurant isn’t open for dining, it only offers delivery, and the food we tried wasn’t great. The food link they send doesn’t work, either. On the plus side, there’s a good view, it’s clean, the shower is great, and the guy there is very helpful. Pay attention, there are TWO Kandy City View places on Maps. This is the bad one, and there’s NO RESTAURANT.
I’ve stayed here a few times and it has felt like home each visit. The staff provide very professional service. Thanks for that.
The rooms were really clean, and there’s a nice spot to enjoy the view. Thanks for the valuable service 💜️💜️. Highly recommend!
You get a good view of Kandy city, and the price feels worth it. It’s a free place. 🔥
The city panorama from our private terrace was the highlight. The room was spotless and had its own bathroom, a kitchen, and all the essentials. From the terrace, you can see why the hotel stands out across the city. We were welcomed so warmly by the owner, who speaks English, Russian, and Sinhala. When it was time to leave, they made sure we got onto the right bus. The staff can prepare meals and arrange taxis, too. We couldn’t find transport to another city, so the owner looked up the bus schedule and the manager drove us to the station at 4 AM, making sure the driver knew our destination. That help meant a lot. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend the hotel. Greetings from Almaty, and wishing you many thankful guests and prosperity!
