“Guesthouse in the clouds ” The valley view really left me awestruck. The host and caretaker were so lovely and helpful that I wanted to stay forever. It’s up the hill, a 10-minute drive from Kandy, and worth the trip. I highly recommend it and will certainly return on my next visit to Sri Lanka.

Hasán, who manages the bungalow, became a very good friend to us. He helped us in so many ways and made it easier for us to experience and enjoy Kandy. I’m grateful we met him and stayed there. Thank you.

The caretaker was wonderful and cooked us some great meals. The place itself was decent, but bring earplugs: neighborhood dogs barked all night, every night, and it was really hard to sleep.

Clean place, good service. If you want good Sri Lankan food, this is a good choice.
