The owner speaks English and German fluently, along with several other languages, and gave us useful ideas for things to do in the city. The staff speak English well and are willing to do anything for you. You can choose what you want for breakfast. Set in the hills near Kandy, the hotel is wonderfully peaceful. We woke to birdsong, with the city sounds faintly in the background.

We had a very nice experience at this hotel uphill on Kandy’s outskirts. The valley scenery is lovely, and the staff were cooperative and helpful. The food tasted great, with plenty of options. Our room was spacious and had an extra bed with a cot too.

The rooftop seating has unbelievable views. I watched the sun set over Kandy for more than an hour. Staff were very friendly and the room was great. I drove up steep little back streets off the main road through Kandy, and my phone GPS made it easy to find.
