Windloft Retreat

We caught an amazing sunset from one side of the resort and a lovely sunrise from the other. The views are perfect, and the rooms are clean, nicely arranged, and roomy, especially the family and triple rooms. Food was tasty with a good range, and the staff were friendly. There's also a separate play area. It can be cold and windy here, so I didn't mind that there was no pool. Call the manager before setting off to get the easiest route, since Google Maps may send you along shorter but rough roads.

Getting to Windloft Retreat, Deltota was a bit of a challenge because the road needs repair. Once there, though, the mountain views and cool weather made it a great place to relax. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well looked after, and the Chef made delicious food. We'd have liked a little more variety in the meals. Mr. Bradly, the Hotel Manager, looked after us from the reservation through our arrival, and made us feel welcome. Mr. Afalan was also wonderful with our family, helping with meals and paying special attention to our child. He kindly prepared special baby food and was so warm and engaging with our kid. It made our family stay especially comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend this peaceful getaway for its hospitality.

The hospitality was great, and we got beautiful sunset and sunrise views. There are hiking spots near the hotel too. If you want the shorter way in, the hotel management can tell you about a shortcut, since the route Google Maps gives is somewhat longer. A calm place I'd recommend to anyone looking for that kind of setting.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the food is amazing. I did find the blankets a little too thin for the chilly weather. Staff and management were incredibly friendly and supportive. The hotel sits right at the top of a mountain, with breathtaking views all around, plus a refreshing walking trail through the woods. The strong wind added to the charm. One of the best places with a view I've visited, and totally worth the price.
