The balcony and the elevated setting had good views. Breakfast was a good buffet, though the vegetarian options were a little sparse and I would have liked more local dishes. Dinner came from a limited menu, with no vegan or vegetarian main course. They first offered Kothu, then changed it to Veg Biriyani. The taste was fine, but they should add a proper vegetarian menu, since many European visitors are vegan too. The room was standard, furnished in an old-fashioned style. I liked the cool, nostalgic easy chair. Service was ordinary, nothing especially good or bad.

The food was delicious and better than we expected. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel had a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. I'd recommend it for a pleasant, memorable stay.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh fruit and juices, pancakes, and omelettes. The evening meals were tasty and reasonably priced, and the staff seemed to genuinely care about giving guests a good experience. My room was clean and tidy too. This was my favorite hotel on my two week trip around Sri Lanka. It's a little outside the main town, but the walk down the hill takes around 15 minutes.

We had dinner at the hotel with the whole family and had a wonderful time. The hotel and its surroundings are stunning, and the management and staff gave us attentive, outstanding hospitality. A beautiful atmosphere, and highly recommended for a family getaway.

We had booked a dayout and called the day before to confirm that everything was fine. But when we arrived at 12pm the next day, they told us another group was using the pool and asked us to wait until 2.30pm. We ordered lunch, which took ages to arrive, from 12pm to 3pm. We accepted that they'd made a mistake, but the man at reception spoke to us very disrespectfully. The staff clearly don't know how they should speak to customers. RIVORA, you're welcome, our small dayout payment can go towards the salaries of those useless staff members. You don't deserve 5 stars. We gave you 1 because we felt sorry for you. Next time, don't waste your customers' time. I would never recommend this place.
