The staff were attentive and wonderful, and the clean, comfortable rooms had great views. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and an excellent location in the middle of Kandy, with sights and restaurants within walking distance. I'd highly recommend it. They also helped us book a tour guide with a car, Sachin Masdushan, who picked us up in Colombo and took us around central Sri Lanka. He knew the sights well and also had good recommendations for places to eat as vegetarians.

After a demanding trip around Sri Lanka, The Radh was a very comfortable place to unwind. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom beautifully designed, and everything was spotlessly clean. The team made our honeymoon especially memorable with a heartfelt welcome. Kandy is a wonderful city, and the hotel made my time there even better. The service was warm and helpful, and their English was the best I heard on the island. Breakfast was outstanding, with something for everyone. My stay at The Radh was truly delightful.

The central location is good, with the major attractions close by. But the suite rooms have no windows or ventilation. The restaurant was very mediocre, and if you're on a half board plan, dinner has very few options. The food takes a very, very long time to arrive. The hotel is Muslim owned, so there's no bar or alcohol, and no pork.

We had all our meals at The Radh Hotel because we didn't try the local restaurants. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. Make sure to try their chocolate brownie, it's amazing! The hotel exceeded our expectations for design and quality, with a modern, elegant feel and a very comfortable room. It sits on a quiet street in the centre, so we couldn't hear city noise. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every moment. Kandy left a lasting impression on us, with its vibrant, distinctly Sri Lankan feel, traces of British heritage, and warm, helpful people. The Radh was an excellent choice.

Everything we ate was amazing, with good-sized portions, and the mushrooms were the best of my life! The hotel and restaurant are beautiful, in a great location with helpful staff. Prices were similar to other places nearby, but this place was so much nicer and fresher.
