The food was very good and reasonably priced. The rooms are basic and weren't very clean. There were no mosquito nets, and with no mesh on the windows, mosquitoes got inside and bit us at night.

Kanthale town has few hotels, and Akila Resort may be taking advantage of that. Even if these are budget rooms, their cleanliness is far worse than rooms at the same level in other places. The rooms and wash rooms were not clean at all. There's a lot that needs improvement.

The room service was ordinary and the bathroom wasn't clean, unfortunately. It's a good place otherwise.

The bathroom was unclean. When we visited, there was a water shortage, but we didn't get any refund for it. I was disappointed.
