Airport Green Villa

We don’t recommend this place at all. The guesthouse is listed as four stars, but one star would be more appropriate. There’s no sign, so it’s difficult to find, and you can hear planes taking off. The pictures are misleading: we booked a family room through agoda, but they refused to give it to us and put us in a tiny, awful room instead. It was ridiculously expensive and not worth it. The people weren’t friendly. Agoda refunded our money and gave us compensation.

I had a pleasant stay at the Airport Green Villa. It’s handy for a short stay and close to the airport.

The owner was kind and helpful when I asked questions. He used to work for a Japanese company and has visited Japan many times, so he’s a Japanophile. The guesthouse seems to have been made from a house; the rooms are simple, clean, and have the basics, though they’re certainly not luxurious. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the airport, which makes it convenient for flights. You can sometimes hear planes taking off and landing, but otherwise it’s quiet. It’s far from the beach and town, so probably not a good base for sightseeing.
