Kaliraj made us two delicious dinners, both packed with incredible flavours, and we also had a lovely local breakfast of breads and fruits. He was an attentive host who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, easy, and enjoyable. The house is beautifully designed, right beside a creek where you can swim, and it’s an easy walk to both Diyaluma Falls and restaurants. There’s a water filter tank on site for convenience. The wifi was average for working online, but that’s to be expected in the mountains. I’d book again.

Kalairaj was an excellent host, making sure we were comfortable and providing tea and coffee. He also refilled our water bottles at the filter station by the house and cooked us dinner, served on the terrace for a very good price. We spent hours in the hammock on the cozy shared terrace, listening to birds and taking in the jungle view. Our budget double room was small but new and very clean, with a kettle. The private bathroom was new too, with a shower door. The house sits amid lush green forest, and there’s a little river in the garden where you can swim. We saw monkeys, lots of birds, and squirrels, and might have seen snakes if we’d been lucky. We stayed two nights so we could visit Diyaluma Waterfall, which you can walk to, and had a really nice time.

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful feel of the large house, tucked away in a very picturesque spot. The manager was attentive and kind, and cooked us a delicious dinner. The hotel is in good condition and set in a quiet area. In the bedroom, a fan and mosquito net meant we had no trouble with mosquitoes. Nearby, we could go swimming or walk along scenic trails.

The natural pool by the bungalow was a great place to cool off after exploring the towns and mountains nearby. It’s easy to walk to the impressive waterfall, either the bottom or the top. I booked two nights at first, then decided to stay two more because I didn’t want to leave. Mr Kaliraj gave us a warm welcome and made the place feel homely. He also helped arrange transport and tuk tuk rides, and cooked impressive vegetarian meals for us on request, all at a very reasonable price. Thank you, and see you next time!

The rooms were nice, and the staff were so friendly. It’s a beautiful natural setting and a perfect overnight stop for visiting Diyaluma falls 🙏🫶⛰️
