We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was great, and the beach is a short walk away. We didn’t meet the owner, but a young man on staff made us feel so welcome. He showed us the beautiful garden and the native fruits growing on the trees, then served tea from his hometown. He was incredibly friendly and professional. From our villa balcony we spotted chipmunks, monkeys, peacocks, and lizards. I’d absolutely recommend it!

A lovely room, comfortable too, and the shower was unusual with vegetation growing inside it. The garden is gorgeous and the family is sweet. It’s a bit out of town, so you’ll need a tuktuk to get in and out.

The owners were very kind and even gave me a lift to the bus station in Weligama. My room was clean, with air conditioning and good internet, and the beach is only about three minutes away. There are several restaurants nearby as well. Bring cash and water, though, since the nearest supermarket or ATM is about a two-kilometer walk. I had a really pleasant stay and would recommend it 100%.

The garden feels like a little paradise, and the staff are super friendly. The location is peaceful, away from Weligama’s bustle, with a small beach, sunset spot, and restaurants within walking distance. They offer a big pot of coffee or tea in the morning, and were flexible about checkout, which I really appreciated. We stayed a week, and the room had some problems. When we requested cleaning, they changed the towels and bed but didn’t clean the bathroom, sweep the floor, or empty the bins. The room also felt neglected: the toilet leaked and made the whole place smell, some furniture was partly broken, and rainwater got into the electrical box.
