Amagi Beach – Secluded Slice of Paradise

We had a pleasant holiday-season stay at Amagi Beach Hotel, Marawila during Sinhala & Tamil New Year. The beach atmosphere and peaceful setting were lovely, and the staff were friendly, supportive, and attentive throughout. Service was very good. The rooms were average and could use a little improvement, though comfortable enough for a holiday. We enjoyed the hospitality and would consider it a good place for family time during the holidays. Sudarshana, the resident manager, was especially attentive, friendly, and ready to help. His hospitality made everything go smoothly from start to finish. Amagi Beach was a lovely place for a relaxing break, with beautiful views and a peaceful feel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the food was delicious. I’d happily recommend it for a memorable getaway and would visit again.

The room and the surrounding area were clean, and the staff were welcoming and reliable. We had a day out at Amagi Beach last month with friends, booking a package that included a welcome drink, lunch, and an evening snack, plus a separate room to relax in. Access to the pool and private beach was a nice bonus. Since it was a weekday, lunch came from a set menu with a few choices. We could pick what we wanted and have it served at our preferred time. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. There were only a few people around, perhaps because it was a weekday, which made the pool and beach time especially quiet and relaxing. I’d recommend Amagi Beach if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind.

The food prepared by chef Ruwan was really delicious. Mr. Sudarshana from Guest Relations also made our stay special. He was warm and caring from the moment we arrived, attentive throughout, and went out of his way to make sure everything was right. His professionalism and friendly manner stood out. Thank you, Mr.Sudarshana, for the exceptional service. He's a real asset to Amagi Beach Hotel Maravila.
