We stayed here for our last 2 nights in Sri Lanka. It’s conveniently located near Colombo International airport in Negombo and was fairly clean. One of the ACs in our family unit didn’t work, so the room could get a little warmer than we wanted, but the second AC meant it wasn’t a long-term problem.

It’s quiet and good value for the money compared with other places in the area. There were two issues, though. The bathroom smelled so bad I couldn’t stay in there for 5min, and the room had a strong cigarette smell, which was uncomfortable. They say smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms, so it must have been some unprofessional guests.

If you want to be close to the airport without staying in Colombo, this hotel is a good option. It’s well priced, and the service was exceptional, especially when they helped us find local taxis that wouldn’t overcharge.

A handy place for a short stay on Minuwangoda airport road. It’s open around the clock, takes reservations at any time through a hotline, and has good parking and clean rooms with both AC and non-AC options. This area gets quite hot, so I’d pick a room with AC. They didn’t provide meals when I asked, though that may have been specific to the date. There are places to eat nearby.

I was there for my cousin sister’s wedding, and the service didn’t feel sufficient for an occasion like that. The hotel management also couldn’t get good network coverage or Wi-Fi inside.
