The Covanro

There’s a big choice of food, and the hotel dishes are delicious. You can also try what Engine Café offers outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive. The washrooms were clean, although they could use better maintenance. The ballrooms can be arranged for parties, with the layout customized to suit what you want. There are also some stunning spots for photos. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The ballrooms are grand and beautiful, and the manager took the time to introduce himself and offer help. As a foreigner, I felt very well looked after. The buffet breakfast and other meals were fresh, high quality, and traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. Service really made my stay at Covanro. The staff were helpful and attentive with other arrangements, and the rooms were serviced every day with fresh linen and water. I’d be very happy to stay again.

We had a wonderful lunch at Covanro hosted by my brother, Dr. Ruwan. He’d recommended it beforehand, and the meal exceeded our expectations. The food was made without preservatives or artificial flavouring and was truly excellent. Dessert was outstanding too, and the seafood and chicken choices suited everyone in our group. It was a brilliant, memorable meal.

Mr. Jagath and the whole team were so kind and welcoming during our one-night stay at Hotel Covanro. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept. We really enjoyed the tasty breakfast, which had a great range of choices. A lovely place to relax. I’d recommend Hotel Covanro to anyone after a comfortable, friendly stay.
