Blue Whale Holiday Hotel

We planned on two nights and ended up extending to three, since the place was so clean and cozy. Breakfast was generous and had lots of variety. Mr. Sahan and his family were genuinely warm and kind, and the neighborhood was quiet. The beach is about a ten minute walk, just as other reviews say. A fantastic stay.

The rooms were good, though they had a slight musty smell. The manager was friendly and a great host, and the service was amazing. Breakfast made by the team was wonderful too. The hotel is perfectly placed, only five minutes from the beach. I can definitely recommend booking Mirissa Blue Whale Holiday Hotel.

For what it costs, this is a really good place. It's only a short walk to the beach, but the street is quiet enough for sleeping. The air conditioning works, the place is clean, the pool area is spotless, and the showers are hot and good. Everyone has a genuine smile. You don't get Marriott level service or daily bed making, but you're not paying that sort of money either. It's a family business, and they seem lovely. I hope they do well for years to come. And you're right next to the best restaurant in town, the number 1 roti place, which lives up to the hype. I'd definitely return.

The pool area felt like an oasis, with lots of loungers and everything clean and well cared for. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our room was spacious and modern, and the beach is just a short walk away. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it for a beach and poolside getaway.
