The staff were lovely, the pool was great, and the resort sits right by the beach with good views. We visited in June, when the waves were too dangerous for swimming, but it was still nice to look at the sea. At 6pm, they release baby turtles into the sea. Being able to hold them and gently set them down on the beach was a great experience. Lali was in charge and was wonderful. He also chatted with us in the restaurant and was always smiling. The chefs kindly accommodated my friend's allergies and made me a sweet hopper on request. There was a good range of tasty food, the rooms were decent, and the WiFi wasn't working. Still, I'd stay again.

The staff were welcoming, and the hotel, pool, layout, and nearby beach were all beautiful. They upgraded our room, which was spacious and had a jacuzzi. Dinner and breakfast were very good, with plenty of vegetarian options. After a tiring day, the live music team playing songs from famous Hindi movies made the evening better. I don't know why the rating is lower, since I had a really good stay. Watching the turtles released at 5.30pm was heartwarming as they made their way toward the water. One downside is that there's no lift, so you have to carry your luggage up and down. Also, one restaurant staff member seemed to ignore our requests several times while responding right away to other foreign guests. It felt a little bad, though otherwise the stay gets a thumbs up.

The candlelight dinner arranged by the Food & Beverage team at Mandara resort was a memorable experience, and the beach location overnighting was great. The team put real care into making the evening personal and smooth. Special thanks to Manager Mr.Rehan and Assistant Manager Mr.Nimal. Their involvement was clear from the first coordination through the final service, and their focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction made a difference. One suggestion: the candle light dinner menu could be improved.

This family-friendly resort has enjoyable activities for all ages. We especially liked the evening release of newly hatched turtles into the sea. Seeing the staff take such care to protect them from predator birds was heartwarming. Mr Prasankar made check-in and check-out safe and easy. We'd love to visit again!

We had a great time at this hotel, which is in a great location in Mirissa. You can see turtles on the beach, and the reception staff were very helpful. Mr Prasanka helped me find a new battery adaptor for my mobile phone. Thanks for everything.
