She seemed like a harmless old lady at first, but that changed as soon as she started talking. She canceled my booking, claiming the toilet was broken, then wouldn't even give us Wi-Fi so we could cancel it ourselves. She also said every bathroom was locked and wouldn't let me use one. Avoid this place if you want a peaceful stay in Mirissa.

We had booked three rooms, but only two were available when we arrived. The next morning, the owner said we had to pay for all three, pay her commission on the third, or cancel, which would still leave us paying since it was already the next day. She also threatened to mark us as a no-show, so we'd have to pay anyway, even though a couple was staying in the room we'd be charged for. That feels like a scam to me. Seemingly innocent old lady? Ahahah.

The rooms were filthy, and there were no toiletries despite them being listed. We couldn't park more than one vehicle, and there was no Wi-Fi as promised. The owner was rude, complained about guests, and couldn't even give directions to her resort. I had a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend staying here.

The family running this place were so kind and friendly. It's set up very well for tourists, with all the comforts you need, even for a longer stay.
