Chamila and her husband were wonderful and helpful with information throughout our stay. The place is practically steps from the seaside tourist area, which made it convenient. Our room was cozy and had hot water. They can make breakfast for a small extra charge, and we highly recommend it: excellent and plentiful. This is the kind of place I’d want to return to again and again.

The rooms are basic but clean, especially for the low price. We stayed two nights, and the owners were amazing and helped us work out how to pack our bicycles into cardboard boxes. The owner also has a little shop selling amazing cake.

I cancelled the room I booked through Booking.com, so I can’t say what it’s like to stay here. This is just about the outrageous customer service I got after making a booking with free cancellation. Robert, a hotel representative, threatened to cancel my booking if I didn’t confirm within a couple of days, even though the terms let me cancel up to 2pm on the check-in day. I understand that hotels need to do business, but it’s not my fault that the cancellation policy they set doesn’t work well for them. One star for Robert’s rude service. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
