The food was amazing, clearly made with love, and the service was everything we could have hoped for. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in us. Our room was clean and cool, with a comfy bed. The lagoon-side setting gave us a great view and plenty of privacy. If we return to Sri Lanka, Hiru Lagoon will be on our list. An amazing stay all around.

After a long flight, this is a peaceful spot to spend a day or two. The hotel has just six rooms, looking out onto a small, beautiful garden and pool. Our room was very clean, the host was welcoming, and the food was very good.

The seafood platter at dinner was one of the best meals of my life. The staff were so friendly that we felt at home right away. The garden, room, and whole property were spotless, and it’s a perfect place to unwind by the pool and take in the amazing view.

A great view across the Lagoon and a short walk to the beach made this a lovely stay near the Airport. The rooms were very clean, and both the service and breakfast were great. Negombo is a quick tuk tuk ride away.

Our first night in Sri Lanka at Hiru Lagoon was just right as a first stop. It was wonderfully calm, with an extraordinary view. Isha was a kind hostess and a great cook. We’d definitely recommend it.
