The Suite 262

We stayed about five days and enjoyed it. The hotel was peaceful day and night despite being near a main road, and it’s close to the beach, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and other places. We’d come back if we’re in Negombo again. We arrived after midnight, but the friendly, helpful staff welcomed us and checked us in quickly. The elevator made it easy to take our bags to an upper floor. Our room was large and clean, with a big balcony facing the pool. The hotel looked nice and was clean overall. The WiFi was really good, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Tea, coffee, and an electric kettle in the room were helpful too. The air conditioning could be better. A comforter would have been nicer than just a plain sheet, since it gets chilly at night. There was no hot water in the room, which was uncomfortable for my fiancé, who is a foreigner. He managed to shower somehow.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and nicely prepared. We had a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it.

Suite 262 is close to the beach, restaurants, and small shops, so exploring Negombo didn’t mean taking long rides. Despite that, the property was quiet and calm at night, and I slept peacefully throughout my stay. The staff were polite, attentive, and ready to help with questions, requests, or local guidance. Their warm, smiling hospitality gave the visit a personal feel. Check-in was easy, and I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. The property was in great condition, with clear care taken over cleanliness and comfort. My room was spacious, well arranged, and spotless, with a cozy feel that wasn’t cluttered. The bed was very comfortable after long days of travel. The air conditioning worked well, the lighting was soft, and the room had a relaxing feel. The bathroom was clean, everything was neatly provided, and the water pressure was surprisingly good. I had an impressive stay at Suite 262 in Negombo, Sri Lanka. It offered comfort, cleanliness, good service, and a convenient location. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Negombo for a short trip or a relaxing holiday.

The location was handy, with restaurants and laundry places nearby and the beach across the road. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus, and breakfast was a nice western-style one served daily. Our room was clean and had excellent air conditioning. The staff at this small family-run hotel were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at midnight after a very long day traveling from New Zealand, and it was no problem at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.
