We spent one night in a three-bedroom condo. The beach is clean and easy to access, with a nice viewpoint, though there are no lifeguards, so swimming is at your own risk. The condos are well maintained and have the essentials, including equipment and gas if you want to cook for yourself. The restaurant menu is limited, and meal quality was okay but a little overpriced. Room service covers the three main meals during standard hours, though I’m not sure about food at unusual times. Mr Tharun was friendly and accommodating. When we had a small problem with the TV service, maintenance fixed it promptly. It was a good stay and I may come back.

The restaurant food was good and its staff were friendly, but at the condo you’re mostly on your own. There is a caretaker, though he isn’t always around and seems to have other work as well. Access to the property is restricted, which helps keep the surroundings safe. The location is great, the rooms are clean, and most of the equipment works. One condo can sleep up to six adults.

Our three-room apartment faced the sea, and I was really happy with the stay. It was one of the cleanest and most spacious places I’ve stayed, with friendly staff, a nice pool, and a gym guests can use. The beach was clean and felt very safe. The restaurant is expensive, so cooking or eating out makes sense. I was concerned that the room was only cleaned once in four days, but the place’s overall look still earns five stars from me.

The apartments are lovely, nicely built and well maintained, with a good sea view. The sea can be rough in that season, though. We had concerns about the restaurant: food took at least 45 minutes, and portions were tiny, with another wait of 45 minutes if you ordered again. The mushroom soup mix hadn’t dissolved properly, and the seafood koththu didn’t have enough seafood. Nilaveli draws people for seafood, so it’s disappointing that options are limited, and even some menu items aren’t actually available. It’s not practical for guests to find food elsewhere either. Guests have to buy their own milk for tea. With all that, the value for money is questionable.
