The restaurant menu is limited, but the food was full of flavor and came in generous portions. The chef is skilled, accommodating, and supportive. The rooms are on the small side but have air conditioning, and you can ask them to cook raw meat or seafood for an extra charge. There’s also a pool, a safe and clean private beach nearby, and a lovely view. The setting is quiet, with space for meals and gatherings. Rates may seem a little high for the facilities, though the beachfront location made the cost feel worthwhile. Renovations are underway to add more budget-friendly rooms. The garden could be better maintained.

The beautiful location was the one bright spot in a disappointing stay. Our food would have been better at a roadside restaurant, and the manager talked a lot but didn’t follow through. The staff seemed willing to help, yet little got done; they were shabbily dressed and served at the table in a way that felt unhygienic. The rooms could have been cleaner, and at checkout they charged more than the price we had agreed on.

We spent a lovely week at Seaway Hotel with our two children. The rooms are very affordable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The sea location is incredible, the beach feels private because it isn’t crowded, and we enjoyed the tasty restaurant food. I’d recommend it.

For an affordable beach break, this was a solid choice. I found the rooms clean, with good privacy and security, and the staff were helpful. There’s direct access to the beach and a nice pool. The restaurant on site could be improved, but there are plenty of good places to eat nearby, so it wasn’t a major problem.

Nilaveli Beach is just a short walk away, and the location is perfect. The views were stunning, the rooms spotless, and the staff friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay.
