I was honestly disappointed with my stay at Glenfall Inn. The place felt poorly maintained, and seeing cats and even rats around was really uncomfortable. The staff weren't friendly, with no warm welcome or helpful attitude. The first floor seemed neglected, the hotel lacked proper facilities, and the bathroom wasn't good either. Everything was dusty and unclean, making it a bad atmosphere for staying with parents and kids. All my kid got a runny nose and got sick from the dust. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The first-floor sitting area was especially disturbing, with rats running freely even when guests were there. Inside, the hotel felt dark, crowded, and smelled unpleasant. Water leaks, rotting wooden interiors, cramped unclean washrooms, and safety concerns made the stay worse. There were also hidden charges at checkout, so the cost felt unfair for the poor quality, especially at off-season rates. There were no pleasant surroundings or scenic views, and it felt like being trapped in an unappealing place instead of having a vacation. Don't be fooled by the uploaded photos, it's only a set up. Hotel Glennfall Inn is not a recommended choice. If I could have left no rating, I would have rather than giving a star.

The staff were really good, and there was no restriction on feeling free, like you would at your own place. I chose Nuwara Eliya Glen Fall Inn Hotel for my vacation a month ago. If you're looking for a good place to stay, go here.

The night had no water at all, there were no heaters, and we didn’t have enough blankets. The place wasn’t very clean, and the meals were only okay for what they charged. The owner was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with and seemed to have no basic understanding of business or customer service. He appeared out of nowhere, wrote up the bill as he pleased, and charged us a half-day rate for just one extra hour. He ruined our vacation. If you’re booking in Nuwara eliya, I’d avoid Hotel Glenfall Inn. There are plenty of other hotels there with better service and reasonable prices. Don’t let people like this spoil your holiday.

I stayed here in 2016, and it was the worst hotel experience of my life. The room smelled of urine and got too cold at night because there was no heating. We asked to borrow a heater, but they wanted to charge us for it, and its plug wouldn’t even have worked without the adapter we happened to bring. I broke a leg the next day while walking because I was tired. I really hope they’ve changed something or closed since then. One star feels too generous; I’d give zero or less.
