Forest View Lodge

From the hilltop you get a good view out the window, though whether you can see the hills depends on the weather that day. The place was clean, the service was good, and the stay justified the price. Mano was a really good host. I’d recommend visiting.

We had a fantastic 2-night family stay for the price. Room 102 has a great view, and we’d recommend it. Outside, the misty, cold setting and views of the forest and mountains were breathtaking. It’s a quiet retreat away from Nuwara Eliya city traffic. The modern rooms were clean, with heaters and hot water, and the washroom was spotless. We liked having a small lobby area to spend time together. The simple English breakfast was satisfying, and the friendly staff gave service that exceeded our expectations.

It’s peaceful, with good customer service from staff who were really helpful. The western breakfast was exceptional and provided just as we expected. A TV in each room would make it even better.

I stayed overnight while visiting Nuwara eliya for a day. The large windows give you a great view of the mountains, and breakfast was good with prompt service from the hotel staff. After the heavy downpour overnight, I had water leakage and hot water problems, so staff changed my room the next day.
