The rooms were very good, the staff friendly, and the place had a cozy feel. The architecture has a bit of a historic look, and the food and extra facilities were good too. It’s a very good hotel for a low price, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A nice, affordable place with friendly owners and large rooms with hot showers. They switch on the hot water when you ask. They can also arrange transport to other places at fair prices.

We stayed in December 2014 and, by our own mistake, booked one room for two people. They charged extra for the second guest, but we didn’t get much in return. The room felt damp and smelled a little; they could have aired it out, but didn’t. Some bathroom fittings were loose. Other guests seemed happy, though, so maybe it’s fine for the price range.

The location was handy for the main attractions and good restaurants, and we had tea in the garden on our first day, which was lovely. The staff were delightful from the start, running out to greet us. They helped us plan our stay, sort out taxis, and figure out where to eat. Glenfall was an exceptional hotel.
