My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hill Cottage. The garden was a highlight, lovely and well maintained, and the place felt beautiful and peaceful. Our room was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was delicious and worth the price. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

The place has a cozy, classic Nuwara Eliya feel, and the staff were some of the kindest people we met on our trip. They really looked after us and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I had an amazing experience at Hill Cottage and would highly recommend it if you want somewhere personal and welcoming.

The garden was lovely, and the place has a charming old British-era feel, with its architecture and functioning furnace. The food and room were excellent too. We ordered extra tea and they didn’t charge us for it, a nice example of their customer-focused service. Highly recommended!

This 160-year-old Governor’s House bungalow took us back to another era during our two-night stay. We could unwind from our busy city lives as time seemed to slow, and at night the stars shone like diamonds overhead. The staff were warm and helpful. On our second night, we’d pre-ordered food to go with our wine, and they served us a delicious meal.
