Lake View Comfort Bungalow

The chef really stands out, preparing delicious meals. There's no A/C, but they can arrange a heater. You also get a spacious dining room, a large garden for parties, and an upstairs living area. The rooms and bathrooms were modern and impeccably clean, with a breathtaking view of Gregory Lake and the city. Best place I've visited this year, and great value for money. Highly recommended.

The Sri Lankan-style breakfast was outstanding, string hoppers with coconut sambal and chicken curry, easily a 100 out of 100. The bungalow's location was wonderful, and the rooms were clean. We were three families, ten people in total, staying for one night. We arrived late, but the owner and staff member welcomed us warmly. Thank you for the excellent service. We hope to come again on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

The rooms are spacious with hot water and good bedding, and the caretakers were helpful and supportive. Service was great, the food tasty, and the menu options flexible. The road is a bit rough for cars, though manageable. The rooms are good but have seen better days, and maintenance has been lacking recently, so the outside doesn't feel great.

Clean rooms, okay furniture and bathrooms, parking available, and helpful staff made this a good one-night stay. There is hot water in both the shower and washbasin, which is a plus. The road to the hotel is tough, though. If your car is new and has low-profile tires, call first to check whether it can make it. A note for management: the balcony needs repainting and better upkeep. It's a nice place. You may not own it, but doing some maintenance while you're in charge won't hurt. Just something to consider.
