Shinic Holiday Inn

I liked the apartment. It's basically clean and the bathrooms are really good, and the view is nice. There was no coffee or tea, so bring your own, and take towels too. The restaurant isn't operating, so you'll need to go out for food. They could provide more comfortable pillows. Still, it's a good place. 💜

It's within walking distance of a food court and mini mart, and the rooms were clean with friendly staff. Our first apartment didn't have enough heating. Since we had elderly people traveling with us, we asked for better heating, and they happily moved us to a different apartment with a much more advanced system. It warmed the rooms in about 15 minutes. We were very pleased with the rooms and kitchen facilities, and I'd recommend the place.

Update on 23/12/2021: It was disappointing to see how much the apartment's condition had slipped. The rooms weren't properly cleaned or ready for check-in, and the bed linens had stains. Staff took a while to bring the electric kettle and unlock one of the rooms. The furniture looked dirty, as if it hadn't been vacuumed in months, and the kitchen utensils were oily and unusable. Although we'd paid for the whole apartment, we could only use one room because we were disgusted by the bed and dirty covers. I hope they fix this soon, since it's such a shame for a great location to lose its value. The location is close to Nuwara eliya town, and this had seemed like one of the best places to stay. It was clean and convenient, the staff were helpful, and the amenities were well maintained and in good condition.

It's a new apartment near town, nicely arranged for a family of four or five adults. But the hospitality is below zero and the communication is very poor. They'll definitely ruin your vacation mood.
