The river, surrounding scenery and mountains looked stunning, and there’s free parking too. We had a lovely stay at Thalagala oya resort in Nuwaeliya. The room was clean and cosy, the staff super friendly, and the location is great for exploring. Highly recommend it for a chill getaway.

We were four friends sharing a spacious, clean room with all the equipment we needed, comfortable beds and a common area where we could hang out together. The location was handy for local attractions, and the host was friendly and made check-in and the stay go smoothly. It was just right for our group, and we’d highly recommend it.

The price was great, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. I came with friends, enjoyed the cool view and had a comfortable stay. Just the place to rest after a long ride. We’re planning to visit again!

We spent two lovely days here, and the peaceful scenery made walking around the area a real pleasure. The owner was a warm, motivated guide and walked the four of us around. The welcome from the receptionist and the resort owners gave us a fantastic start, and the tour was excellent and flexible. It felt so homey and special to all of us. The owner clearly puts a lot into the place. Many thanks, and I recommend Talagala Oya Resort & Restaurant to everyone!

The forest all around made for a wonderful view, and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s near Pedro mountain, so it was a little colder than elsewhere in Nuwaraeliya. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the accommodation was nice, and the owners were very friendly.
