Lion Resort

We found cobwebs in our room while the owner was complaining that he had no business. For a triple room he first gave us just two towels, and only after we asked for another did he bring one. It was a tiny face towel.

We enjoyed the food the owner offered, and he made us feel at home. The pool was clean and well maintained, and the room was roomy enough for us. AC and hot water both worked without any problems. There's plenty of parking on the property, so I'd recommend it to families.

For what we paid, Lion Resort was a decent place to stay, though there were some clear drawbacks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the AC worked well, and both the pool and its filters seemed properly maintained. Breakfast was enjoyable, and the bathrooms met basic hygiene standards. There wasn't much to look at outside, since buildings surround the resort and block any scenic views. Service could also be slow, as the owner appeared to be managing everything alone. We were puzzled by the 10% service charge added to the final bill and weren't sure what it was for. It's still reasonably priced accommodation, and dealing with those issues could make the experience better.

The room was clean and large, with a comfortable bed, and the staff were nice. They brought us welcome juice while we were in the pool. Breakfast was standard, with egg, sausage, juice and the like. It's a little way from the city centre, but I liked the place and would come back. I'd recommend it.
