For this budget, I couldn’t ask for a better room in Sri Lanka. It was spotless and in excellent shape, and the staff were kind and helpful. The Ancient site is very close, and you can rent a bicycle if you want. I forgot to take room photos, but the pictures on Booking.com and Google match what you get.

The paddy-field breeze makes the place comfortable despite the heat in this region. It’s also close to the city center, so food and other essentials are easy to get. The facilities and location are excellent. The access road is a little narrow, but a car can still manage it.

A peaceful, pleasant place to stay, and the staff are friendly...!

We didn’t have a good stay. The rooms seemed finished, but the rest of the place looked like a construction site. There was no shampoo or shower gel, and the mosquito nets had holes, so the rooms were full of mosquitoes. Roof work in the afternoon and again from 7:30 a.m. kept us awake.
