The rooms are roomy, with good air conditioning, and the family can make a simple but good-quality breakfast for an extra charge. The menu is suitable for kids, too. It’s a newly built, small family guest house with four rooms on the ground floor, including a family room. There were cobwebs and mineral deposits in the room and bathroom, so the cleaning schedule needs some work. Toiletries weren’t provided, and we didn’t get the free Wi-Fi that was mentioned.

The family running the place put a lot of effort into making our stay enjoyable. We had dinner there, and it was great. It was the best place we stayed for a night in Sri Lanka. The property was new when we visited in December 2018.

The host family was welcoming and the food tasted good. The rooms and fittings are newly built. Wi-Fi is free, though it doesn’t reach the rooms. The place is easy to get to and close to town.
