Turtle Watch Cabana

The restaurant looks out over three cabanas among the palm trees, with cozy lights making them beautiful at night. It felt like paradise. Our room had a quiet air conditioner and a semi-open bathroom. Showering while looking up at sunlit palms was such a unique experience, and maybe you’d even spot a monkey :) Asanka was exceptionally helpful. He made us a delicious breakfast, showed us sea turtles, and even drove us to the beach at night to watch them laying eggs. His many years working in turtle conservation meant he could explain everything in a fascinating, insightful way.

Quiet and rustic, with waves crashing nearby at night. The cabanas were simple but comfortable, and staying so close to the turtle nesting beach was a big plus. It was an unforgettable place to be right at the edge of the wild ocean, perfect for a nature-focused stay.

Asanka and his family gave us a great stay. The kids played cards with children from around the world and with his son. Our place was clean and comfortable, and we spent lots of time relaxing on the nearby beaches. Breakfast was delicious, with pancakes, hoppers, and a plate of fresh fruit.

The beaches nearby are breathtaking, and the cabanas are in an amazing location. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Asanka was kind and helpful. He took us to a local turtle beach, arranged kayaking on the lagoon, and brought us to see turtles nesting. Asanka and his wife cooked breakfast every morning, and we also enjoyed the one dinner we had there. We had an incredible time and would recommend staying here to anyone!
