Funk Bunks - Sigiriya

The owner personally checked the little details, and you could feel how much care they put into making things run well. My wife and I stayed with her office team, and the staff and management made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. The hotel was clean, safe, and suited to a group trip or a relaxing stay. The food was incredibly delicious, easily one of the best parts for us. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya.

Food was great, and I really enjoyed staying at Funk Bunks Sigiriya. It's surrounded by nature and has a relaxed, unusual vibe. The rooms were comfortable, neat, and well maintained. There are private pools and indoor games, too. I'd come back and recommend it to anyone after a laid-back, memorable stay.

We loved being a little way out in the quiet, and the location was great. There's plenty of seating for hanging out, though the hammocks still weren't ready. The guys were so friendly, and a tuk tuk into the village cost only 500 from there. Hiring bikes made it easy to explore the lakes and lanes. Our private room was huge, and the dorms looked nice. Wi-Fi was good, but there was no phone service. The free family dinner and breakfast were perfect, and brought together everyone who'd been out during the day. It was a beautiful, social evening.

The staff made a lasting impression, especially Anuradha Lokku and the whole team. They were warm, attentive, and caring. They even did my laundry for free and got out some really stubborn stains, which I appreciated a lot. Funk Bunks Sigiriya has beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere, and the rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. I had a great time and came away with lots of good memories. A stay here feels like more than just a place to sleep, and I'd recommend it for a getaway.
