I dropped in one evening on a whim and had one of the best meals of my trip in Sri Lanka. I’d been short on protein, so the mixed grill was exactly what I wanted: well-seasoned grilled chicken, seafood and fish, with a great salad and french fries. There are Sri Lankan classics on the menu too. If you’re after protein, I’d really recommend the grilled dishes.

I got there earlier than planned, and the staff were so kind about it. They helped me settle in and even found me a tuk-tuk, which made things feel easy after a long travel day. It was a lovely, welcoming stay. Breakfast was genuinely great, and I liked the lunch choices too. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The pool was clean, and it was clear the workers took real pride in doing their best. The food was amazing too, and everyone was friendly and generous. My wife and I stayed at La Dolce Vita last week, and it was unforgettable. I’m especially grateful to Madu, our driver. He drove us to Negombo on the day flooding began from cyclone Ditwah. Without him, we might still be stranded. Could someone confirm he’s okay and got home safely? Thanks again, we’re truly grateful.

We kept coming back to the restaurant while staying here for three nights. It wasn't because we weren't curious about other places, the food was just that good. The homemade soups, made from scratch, were especially great by any standard. The guys were all so friendly and keen to help. Our room was decent, the pool was big, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We had a really nice dinner here. The Mongolian chicken was amazing, and the chicken shawarma with fries was fresh and tasty too. It’s a bit different from shawarma in the Middle East or Europe, but we still enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff.
