Sigiri Mango Garden Resort

Mr. Rawan was a wonderful host, attentive, friendly and always ready to help with a genuine smile. He made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and made sure we were comfortable throughout. Our room was clean, cozy and well maintained, and waking up to fresh air and birdsong was a treat. The local food was delicious too. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, giving us a peaceful escape from busy tourist spots while still being conveniently close to Sigiriya Rock. Our stay at Sigiri Mango Garden Eco Resort, Sigiriya was truly memorable and refreshing. If you're looking for a calm, nature-filled retreat with heartfelt hospitality, we'd highly recommend this place. We'd definitely love to return!

Ruwan gave us helpful suggestions and arranged transport around Sigiriya and on trips farther afield. He was always warm and gentle, never pushy, and charged incredibly reasonable prices. He and his caring family made our three nights here special. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka, served in enormous portions that kept us going on our adventures. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with great air conditioning for the heat. The pool was a luxurious bonus, a lovely place to cool down after a hot day visiting local sights. We can't recommend Mango Garden highly enough.

We spent four nights here and would definitely return if we're in Sigiriya again. From the porch, it was surreal to watch monkeys, peacocks and other wildlife playing, and town was within walking distance. Ruwan was an incredible host, friendly, generous and helpful with everything from tours to taxis and tuk tuks. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with different Sri Lankan dishes every day. The pool was lovely for cooling off in the afternoons. Highly recommend staying here!

Ruwan and his family were the real stars of our visit. Their home-cooked food was fantastic, and they organized a brilliant day trip that made our stay a joy. The lodges sit right on the edge of prime Sri Lankan jungle, so we often got to watch monkeys doing acrobatics, and even had the occasional elephant gate-crasher! The location is also excellent for exploring Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle, with the Sacred City of Polonnaruwa, Dambulla's cave temples and Sigirya's own Lion's Rock all easy to reach.
