Sigiri Panaromic Tree House

The setting was beautiful and peaceful, and we were welcomed with a delicious drink. Mr. and Mrs. treated us wonderfully, and the room was cleaner than we expected, with nothing wrong with it. Breakfast was delicious too. I’d say this is a lovely place where anyone can stay comfortably and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. If you’re coming to Sigiriya, it’s a great choice. I loved staying with you, and thank you for your hospitality!

Sigiri Panoramic Tree House The rooms were dirty and had a strong smell of damp and mold. The tree houses stand on stilts and are made from particle boards. The sheets and towels smelled bad too, which was completely unacceptable. The shower didn’t work, there was only cold water in the toilet, and we even found a frog inside. The owner sprayed the whole room with lemon air freshener to cover the smell, but it only made things worse. The damp and strong chemical lemon scent became suffocating, and it was uncomfortable to breathe in there. We left our suitcases unpacked and chose not to stay. I’d rather sleep in a tent or car. The owner was friendly at first, but started arguing when we said we couldn’t stay in those conditions. I paid for the night with breakfast to keep the peace, although we didn’t stay or use it. For anyone who likes extremely basic, spartan conditions, I’d honestly suggest a tent instead.

It was such a beautiful, quiet spot in nature, and we had a really good time in the tree house. The family were lovely, and we enjoyed the delicious food.

Just agree on prices in advance if you plan to use their transport or other services, since extras can be quite expensive. The property is a little far from town, so it may not suit you if you want city life or nearby facilities. A great experience if you’re after quiet and nature.
