The owners were kind and helpful, gave us useful tips, lent us a scooter, and made it possible to add another night. We also enjoyed breakfast by the river. The Sigiriya River Side Villa is a real gem, set just off the main road, so it feels peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are in good condition and affordable, with what you need to explore Sigiriya. Since you’re surrounded by nature, you might come across some wildlife outside or even inside the room. We loved the surroundings and our stay.

The tree-house style room was simple but charming, cosy, and spotless. The whole property had a peaceful natural feel that made it easy to slow down and enjoy the moment. The host was incredibly kind and clearly cared about making our stay memorable. I had a very positive experience and am especially grateful for his hospitality. Highly recommended.

Jami and his wife were the real highlight. They’re generous, kind people who help with whatever you need. Jami arranged practically all our sightseeing and drove us around, making him a thoughtful companion. We also loved breakfast, especially the amazing crepes with coconut and honey. The place itself felt magical, with wooden jungle houses and the soothing sound of a small river nearby. We loved staying here.

The treehouse was clean, breakfast was delicious, and the nature around the place was stunning. We even had a peacock walk right in front of us. Just don’t leave your things outside, or monkeys may steal them. The family were super friendly and offered free rides around the area. Our neighbors even got a lift to Kandy. The host arranged a massage and a safari to Minneriya national Park for us. It was an amazing experience.

Such a lovely, peaceful place, with a room we liked and a garden full of spots to sit and relax, right beside a river. The owners made us a lovely breakfast and fruit juice every morning. They were also happy to suggest places to visit, arrange trips, and provide transport. Lovely people and a lovely stay. Definitely recommend!
