Green Habitat Ayurveda Resort and Spa

We booked a one-night stay for last Saturday and even called the lady to confirm parking. The place was hard to find, and when we arrived it felt suspiciously remote. No one was there except some electricity board workers, who opened the gate for us. When we called, the staff didn’t even know guests were expected that day. We saw no other guests, and the property looked nothing like the photos. Everything, including the pool, was badly maintained. We felt so uneasy that we found somewhere else near the main road. They never called us back. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel; it isn’t as shown in the photographs.

It’s a bit away from the main stretch of Mirissa, so finding it the first time can be tricky. Once you do, though, it feels like a hidden gem at a great price. The rooms are lovely, furnished nicely and well kept, and the owner was happy to accommodate us. She’s a lovely lady and speaks great English.

Terrible, don’t even consider staying here. There’s no pool, and the rooms don’t look like the pictures. You may not find the place at all; we found a locked gate with nobody there to check us in. We arrived late in the evening, but even if someone had been there to meet us, it was so far from what Booking.com showed that I’d say don’t bother.

The staff were very polite and pleasant, and we got welcome drinks, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were beautiful and had air conditioning, with a pool and a peaceful atmosphere. The only drawback, though some may see it as a plus, is how far it is from Mirissa and from shops and other places.
