The host was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. He even rode out to find my wife some extra coat hangers. We also liked having a generator for power outages. The hot shower was good, the bed was comfy, and it had mosquito nets. Outside our ground-floor room there was a small terrace with lights and a fan, and a good view of monkeys across the road, though they didn’t intrude. We stayed four nights and the location suited us, as 60-year-old travellers. It’s down a lane off the main road, opposite Turtle Beach, an easy 300-metre walk away. The room was clean and spacious, and had an Alexa connected to the lights, plus a phone if you wanted to use it. We didn’t try breakfast, but a bread van comes by every morning, and a kettle is provided. It was great value in Mirissa, and we’d stay again.

For a quiet stay, this place works well: it’s a five-minute walk to the beach, away from the road, and you can see monkeys moving around in the neighbouring trees. The hotel is very clean and modern, though I’d describe it more as a guest house. There are four rooms, no reception, and the garden is just the house garden.

The host was the NICEST, and the room was lovely. There’s seating right outside, a great hot shower, and he’d even set up an Alexa to control the lights and aircon. It’s so close to the beach and ideally placed for restaurants. 100% recommend, and I’d definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The host is really friendly, and we loved his cute, friendly dogs. Give them a little affection and they appreciate it. The apartment was the cleanest and most modern of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka. I hope it stays that way.
