The spa could use improvement. Our full body massage felt more like oil being gently applied than an actual massage. Also, over the three days we were there, there was no room service and we didn't get fresh water or towels. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is right in front of the beach, with a few bars between it and the sand; they're easy to walk past and add to the lively feel. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms comfortable, and the area has charming beachside bars and delicious food. The staff were polite, friendly and always ready to help.

The food at Gatsby is outstanding, 5*+, and the servers there are polite and attentive. We were staying at a partner hotel about 100 yards away, which gave us access to the rooftop bar and restaurant, as well as the rooftop pool. Highly recommend if you're in Mirissa, Sri Lanka.

One night, music from the bar on the fourth floor was very loud. I checked whether there was a party, but there wasn't. I mentioned it to a man at the desk, and they turned it off so we could sleep. At arrival, we were told room cleaning and towel changes are available on request, so just let them know if you want that. The infinity pool was a nice extra, and a good place to relax. Great place to stay!

We especially enjoyed the sea views from the swimming pool, and the free parking was very handy. Breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of choice. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the friendly, helpful staff made the stay even nicer. We had a wonderful two-day visit and would highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
