The management were always ready to help, and the service was really good. The food was excellent and mouthwatering, and the place is nicely situated close to the beach. Thanks to the team for making the day memorable.

We had delicious fried rice, and he treats local and foreign customers well, giving the best service he can.

The same 20 seconds of a song played on repeat for our entire dinner, and the manager watched the whole situation without stepping in. The worker never apologized and turned passive-aggressive. The service was awful from the start: the waiter forgot our order almost immediately, cooked the wrong dish, then blamed us. I'd told him the total before he started cooking and he'd agreed, but he made a more expensive dish and tried to tell me I hadn't ordered what I did. We tried to pay in advance, then waited about 20 minutes for the change. We ordered two drinks and got different ones, even though I asked five times if he understood what I wanted. The food took 20 minutes despite us being the only people in the restaurant. It was bland and oily, yet somehow dry too.

The owner was really friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I also enjoyed the small restaurant's delicious Sri Lankan food. White horse guest is a cozy little guest house with clean rooms and bathrooms, plus plenty of parking. It's a short distance from Mirissa Beach, but away from the busy center, so the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. A great fit if you want to stay near the beach without being among the crowds.
