Ajith and his family made us feel so welcome. They’re kind, thoughtful people who take real pride in their home and country. The terrace was lovely in the evening, and we spotted giant squirrels in the trees. There’s also a small pool for a swim or a stretch, with a jacuzzi in it, which felt pretty magical. Ajith helped arrange our safari and a driver for the onward trip, plus breakfast and lunch. Both meals were delicious, and the coffee was so good. We’re really glad we stayed and would recommend it without hesitation.

We loved the treehouse. A living tree grows right through the house, with its leaves still there, and the place feels special, comfortable, beautifully designed, and well cared for. It’s close to Udawalawe National Park, surrounded by peaceful nature, and the owner was welcoming and always ready to help. Our safari was enjoyable, well organized, and very reasonably priced. Afterward we had a generous Sri Lankan style breakfast with seven different dishes. Check-out was easy, and our host walked us to the bus stop and helped us get on the right bus. It was so lovely of him. This was an unforgettable stay and one of the best trips we’ve had 😌

The owner and staff were very nice, and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. There’s a lovely garden, a nice pool, and lots of birds. The owner even set up a little platform to feed them. I really recommend dinner and breakfast. The curry was the best I’ve had, and breakfast was generous and delicious.

We felt completely at home here, and the owners took care of everything. The terrace was a peaceful place to watch the birds, and there’s a pool to unwind in after exploring. The treehouse has so much charm and feels truly different, while still being clean and comfortable. The bed was wonderfully cozy. We also really recommend the safari they arrange, it was unforgettable. Wow!

The safari was good value and easy to arrange, and the team were all friendly. We ate well at both breakfast and dinner. The comfortable treehouse makes this a lovely option when visiting Udawalawe National park, and the new swimming pool is a great addition.
