We spent more than two weeks at Berg House and had a wonderful time. The shared kitchen and terrace were a real plus, and there’s a pleasant outdoor area to sit and unwind. Our room and bathroom were both roomy, clean, and comfortable. The staff were especially kind and welcoming, always ready to help. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we’d highly recommend it.

The owners made us feel welcome from the start, which gave the stay a personal touch. It’s a calm place for a relaxing break, with clean, well-kept rooms. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, where the dishes were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I’d recommend this villa to anyone after warm hospitality and a peaceful setting.

The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and made sure we had what we needed. Berg House sits in a quiet area but the beach is still close by. Our room was cozy and clean, with a lovely view. A comfortable, relaxing option in Unawatuna, and I’d happily recommend it.

I liked the relaxed feel at Berg House, and the rooftop was a nice place to wind down after a full day. The rooms were comfortable, and the team were friendly and willing to help. It’s also handy for getting to good gyms, which mattered to me since I like keeping active. My favourite hostel in Srilanka, especially for solo travelers or couples who enjoy fitness.

A short way from lively Unawatuna Beach, this guesthouse is well placed for both exploring and taking it easy. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the rates are very reasonable for what you get. It would work well for families or groups too. A fantastic, affordable place to stay near the beach, highly recommended.
