The wildlife around here was a highlight, with monkeys, iguanas, and all kinds of cool birds. We had a decent room, enjoyed the pool, and found the whole place really laid-back. The Sri Lankan breakfast was sublime, and the staff were great. Easy five stars, I'd recommend it.

We had a peaceful, relaxing start to our Sri Lanka trip here. The garden is lovely, with birds and the occasional lizard wandering through, and the staff were kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed and good sleep each night. The pool was refreshing in the afternoon and lovely for a dip later on. A short tuk tuk ride gets you to the beaches, Galle Fort, and restaurants. Thank you! 🪷

The villa was comfortable and beautiful, and the food was excellent. We loved the peaceful feel created by the architecture and all the lush greenery around it. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our family getaway at Green Escape Unawatuna. Oshadhi and the team made sure everything went smoothly from check-in right through to check-out. We'd definitely come back.

Such a lovely green setting, and the staff were genuinely kind and fantastic with us. We stayed at greenescapes with our two children and had an amazing time. If you're heading to Unawatuna, I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

We loved the huge pool and garden, and the food was awesome. Everyone on staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and the hotel felt perfect for a proper rest. It's not right on the beach, but getting there by tuk tuk or car is quick and easy. I can 100% recommend it if you're planning to stay in Unawatuna.
